6TH GRADE

“What does it mean to be part of a Jewish community?”  This is the question which will frame the curriculum for fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh grade.  During the course of their four years focusing on this topic, students will engage with a wide variety of topics, all of which will help them explore and define their answer to this question.

Their curriculum will focus on the following large units:

  • Second Chances in the Torah (or a lack thereof)
  • Freedom (how is it expressed in the Torah and what does freedom look like today)
